Reports

Owner

Check posted financial statements and the current stock quantity and value.

Who uses this

The owner, at the end of the day or period, or when a dashboard total needs proof.

What you need first

  • Posted activity in the period

Steps

1. Open Reports Center

Open Reports. Run Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for the period or date you need. For inventory, run Stock Summary for on-hand quantities and Inventory Valuation Summary for the carrying value by product. Inventory uses weighted average cost. Compare these reports with receipts, stock movements, and reconciled activity before you close the period. Export CSV when you need a file and keep the selected dates with it.

Zemba screen preview being refreshed: Reports Center catalog.

What done looks like

  • P&L and Balance Sheet drill to the same receipts and journals you posted.
  • Stock Summary shows on-hand quantities. Inventory Valuation Summary shows the value calculated using weighted average cost.

Zemba does not currently provide FIFO cost-lot reports, batch or serial histories, inventory aging, or a dedicated stock movement report. Use a product's movement history and the posted inventory journals when you need to trace a specific stock change.

Common mistakes

  • If the CSV and the screen disagree, trust the screen and the books, not an edited file.
